Super Bowl week is an entertainment smorgasbord and this year’s Bay Area location means it’s easy for Southern California residents to indulge. With nonstop flights from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego that clock in at just over an hour, SoCal music lovers can pop up north for a day or two to catch some great shows.

Running primarily from Feb. 3 through Feb. 7, the concert calendar spans multiple neighborhoods, genres and venues across San Francisco and Santa Clara. The result feels like a tightly packed music festival that doesn’t require a stadium ticket to enjoy.

BAHC Live! Concert Series

A key part of the schedule is the BAHC Live! Concert Series, produced by the Bay Area Host Committee in partnership with Another Planet Entertainment. The series takes place at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, a landmark venue known for hosting major touring acts.

The Super Bowl week lineup unfolds across three nights: Feb. 5 features pop artist Benson Boone, followed on Feb. 6 by EDM star Martin Garrix with Lost Frequencies. On Feb. 7, the series closes with Chris Stapleton joined by Sierra Ferrell, one of the strongest country bills Super Bowl week has seen in years.

More to explore

Beyond the Bill Graham Auditorium, Super Bowl week concerts extend into some of San Francisco’s most recognizable settings. One of the most anticipated performances is Sting, who headlines an intimate Feb. 6 concert at the Palace of Fine Arts. The show is part of the NFL’s official hospitality programming, with tickets and packages available through the league’s authorized provider at onlocationexp.com.

Electronic and pop fans will find no shortage of large-scale events as the week builds. Warehouse-style shows and waterfront venues host DJ-driven nights throughout the city, including events tied to Pier 80 and Fort Mason. Among the most buzzed-about is Post Malone & Buddies, presented by Bud Light. The concert is free for fans 21 and over, with access distributed through official Bud Light promotions. Entry details are posted directly at budlight.com.

Of course, the week culminates on Sunday, Feb. 8, with Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Bad Bunny headlines the halftime show, with Green Day, Charlie Puth, Brandie Carlisle and Coco Jones each set to perform before the game. Access is limited to game ticket holders, but if you weren’t lucky enough to score tickets to the game you can always catch it on the big screen at a local bar or in your hotel lounge.
