DJ Snoop-A-Delic (AKA Snoop Dogg) will perform a DJ set, competitive eaters will chow down and more than 20 Southern California noodle vendors will set up shop in Huntington Beach for a festival.

The “Nood Beach” festival, a spinoff of food blog Foodbeast’s “Noods, Noods, Noods” events, will take place Sept. 1 at SeaLegs At The Beach. Vendors will sell “traditional and unconventional” takes on noodles, according to a description of the event. Some of the varieties offered will be ramen, udon, Thai and Vietnamese.

Geoffrey Kutnick, co-founder of the Santa Ana-based Foodbeast, wrote in an email that some of the vendors include Huntington Beach’s LSXONewport Beach’s Ten Asian Bistro, and Los Angeles’ Michin Dak.
